Pakistan Super League 7: Karachi Kings defeated in the eighth match,

The story Has been same for Karachi Kings in every match. Even if there are ups & downs, the end is full of sorrow. In the match against Multan-Sultans, he lost by seven wickets. Multan Sultans crossed the Karachi Kings' 174 run target on the third ball of the last over.

This is  (8)eighth consecutive defeat of Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League 7 while Multan Sultans have won for the seventh time in eight matches.

Both the teams competed in the opening match of PSL and in this match also Multan Sultans won by seven wickets.

Top order betting again failed

Babar Azam won the toss & elected to bat first but he was also the first batsman to be dismissed. In the second over of match, Roman Raees made him LBW for just 2 runs. DRS also upheld the decision of Emperor Asif Yaqub.

In the presence of Sharjeel Khan and Joe Clarke, Karachi managed to score 40-runs in the Kings Power Play. Whenever they got a chance, they hit fours and sixes but they both got caught in the spin trap.

Joe Clarke made 40 off 29 balls with the help of three fours & two sixes and was caught-by Shaun Masood off Imran Tahir.

Sharjeel Khan Surprise Bowler came under the radar of Khushdal Shah in whose first over he scored 36 runs with the help of two sixes & a four and was caught by new player Aamir Azmat.

Young batsman Qasim Akram's talent came under his control after he hit a  6 (six )to Shahnawaz Dhani. He had scored a half-century in the previous match but this time only 13 runs could be recorded in front of his name.

Rohail Nazir hit two fours in a row to Moza Rabani but he made 21-runs and caught an easy catch to Shaun Masood in the same over. At this stage, half the team of Karachi Kings was in the dugout for only 118 runs.

Multan got two chances to end the partnership of Emad Wasim and Mohammad Nabi but both times Mohammad Nabi's catches got out of the hands of fielders.

Both times the unfortunate bowler was Moza Rabani. In the last over of the innings, Shahnawaz Dhani Muhammad Nabi was caught by Tim David and 16-runs were scored in this over.

Muhammad Nabi scored 21 runs with the help of a four and a six and also added 48 runs for sixth-wicket with Emad Wasim.

Emad Wasim batted well like the previous match and played an innings of 32 not-out off just 16 balls which included a six and five fours.

Khushdal Shah did the work

To capture the target of 175 runs, Multan Sultans needed a good partnership which they got through reliable openers Shaun Masood & Mohammad Rizwan. Both added 100 runs.

This is their second century partnership in this tournament & they have also formed two half-century partnerships.

The mental harmony of both the batsmen can be gauged from the running between the wickets in which they easily converted one run into two and did not allow the fielding side to be set even though Mohammad Rizwan was crippled. I was having trouble running.

Despite batting with confidence from both of them, sixes were needed to bring down the rising run rate & surprisingly Multan Sultans' 100 runs were completed on the first ball of the 15th over without any sixes but On the next ball, Shaun Masood Mir Hamza's ball was caught by Muhammad Nabi on the boundary.

He scored 45 runs with the help of six-fours & also completed his one thousand total runs in PSL.

Mohammad Rizwan played 45 balls and hit three fours to complete-his fourth half century in this tournament but after completing his half century he realized the situation & hit four fours to Ameed Asif in one over.

The turning point of the match came in the 17th over when Rizwan hit a four to Chris Jordan but in the same over he scored 76 runs & was caught by Qasim Akram in the deep cover. Tim David hit two fours off the last two balls of over.

After Rizwan's dismissal the Tim David was  last hope of Multan Sultans who are the batsmen who hit most-6 (sixes) in this PSL but they could not hit sixes in this match nor could they take the team to the destination.

Mir Hamza ended his short innings of 13-runs with a catch by Clarke. This third wicket of Multan Sultans fell on 141 runs.

Multan Sultans needed 29-runs off the last 12 balls to win but Khushdal Shah disrupted the Karachi Kings' calm with two sixes & a four in Chris Jordan's last over.

Multan Sultans had to score nine runs in the last-over to win.

Ameed Asif started the over with wide. Khushdal Shah scored a run on the next ball. Riley Russo took two runs on the second ball & then on the third ball he hit a six-on the mid wicket to end the frustration of Karachi Kings.

Khushdal Shah showed his work in batting after bowling. He scored an unbeaten 21 off just nine balls, including a four & two sixes.
