Lunch break on the fifth day of the 2nd Test between Pakistan & New Zealand.
Pakistan batting is once again in trouble & 5 players have returned to the pavilion in pursuit of a target of 319 runs. _ they are now 194 for victory. Runs required.
When Pakistani Team resumed batting on the last day today. it had 2 players out for zero & the problems for the batsmen on the National Stadium Karachi pitch were increasing from the previous day.
Pakistan started the day with openers Imam ul Haq & Shan Masood at the crease & both of them faced difficulties on the bowling of 1st Ash Lodhi & then Matt Henry & Saudi.
Imam ul Haq looked uneasy against Ash Sodhi. Today & eventually tried to use his feet to stroke Sodhi against the spin but the ball hit his stumps.
After his dismissal: A partnership of 42 runs was established between Babar Azam & Shan Masood. So it seemed that now Pakistan' batting was taking care of itself. but then Babar Azam was unfortunately bowled by the off spinner Bracewell. Catching. Babar 2nd 27 runs with the help of 5 fours.
Shortly after his dismissal. Shaun Masood was also caught out by Williamson off the ball of Brace well & thus half of the Pakistan team returned to the pavilion with a total score of 80 only.
Pakistan currently need 194 runs to win & Saud Shakeel. Who scored an unbeaten century in the first innings. Is at the crease with Sarfraz Ahmed supporting him.
The 2 have shared a 45-run partnership so far and both have been playing the spinners particularly confidently.
It should be noted that a partnership of 150 runs was established between the 2 in the 1st innings due to which Pakistan managed to get close to New Zealand 1st innings score.
Half century in six innings.
It should be noted that Shan Masood has tried to show aggressive batting since his return to the Test team & during that time he could not make a single half century in 6 innings.

On the other hand. A user pointed to Babar Azam bad scores in the fourth innings of the Test match & also said. Where does Babar who is the so called king. go in the second innings?

It should be noted that Babar Azam played the best innings of 196 runs in the fourth innings of the Karachi Test against Australia last year. But this is his only century in the fourth innings of the match & his overall average in this innings is 36.
